The Sighting
It was diamond
shaped and shivered, spitting light
from the three corners
as it hung weightless
small and close, far and larger,
I don't know, she said,
and I can't tell what
I know because I am sworn
and they keep watching.

Mariana, glad you came by. My writing was dense, I know. This poem puts ufos and spy thrillers together.
ReplyDeleteWe have a thing we say sometimes, "I have a secret, and if I told you, I would have to kill you." This goes around between friends totally as a joke. Something of that is in the poem too.

ReplyDeleteI have two different dr. apps back to back today, found out finally what the language of the mri is and saw xray of same area...not good. So I have signed up with chiropractic because I have no intention of cutting my back open for this.
If he was from Venus, would he feed us with a spoon? If he was from Mars, wouldn't that be cool?

Erin, You're right there...I heard God quit working the obvious miracles because they never work out right with us. Especially when they happen too often, all we do is take them for granted.
