Trying To Catch Up

Trying To Catch Up

You're too fast for me.
You won't hold still. I'll have to
set a frigging trap,
anticipate where you
might go in your leaps and bounds.

You swooped in, kissed my
special places - my neck
still tingles as if you sucked
out all my good sense,
left behind enough
of you to skew my life north
of my old intent.

  1. Very nice. A kiss will do that. And I'm happy the filter is off. Damn that's a real hard nut to crack half the time. *sigh* Even humans can't read it half the time.

  2. Thanks, W&W. I am glad you liked the poem. As for the word ver. for some reason it got really easy for me, maybe one time in fifteen needing to take another display and getting it quick. So I don't hate it all that bad anymore. I think there is a learning curve. But I will leave it as is for a while. I have to go to comments and scrub out the spam for now. Most days I have this one robot that hits a certain post (third popular all time) several times a day, apparently selling boots and other stuff.

  3. I don't think you ever had any good sense to begin with... neener neener neener :-p

The chicken crossed the road. That's poultry in motion.
