Heron At River's Dawn

Heron At River's Dawn

Your soul flew about
a silver fish in the light,
in the sky darting
and herding others,
doing God's bidding unknown
but certain like stones.
You told me one time
that it would be bright like this,
like a spring morning
with the Sun trying
already for summer's day
this early in the world.

  1. i see your heron and take it as a sign. (i dreamt of a heron last night, or rather a photograph of a heron, a specific one but this one calls to me too.) and so i come, long overdue, but having been talking with you this whole long time. truly. over and over again through the coming and falling light.

certain like stones))) and as uncertain too, but in them we lay our faith.

how are you, christopher? i hope well. i hope better than well. i hope. yes, i do.

Over now. A marvelous experience. We talked about you. Here you are. Loving you.

    2. The heron was moved from last night's encounter to this morning early when I was sitting and drinking tea waiting for others to show up.
