In The Gulf

I wonder if I am talking about political rhetoric. Perhaps that's the flood I am thinking of. I do believe we get the outcomes we deserve.

In The Gulf

We cannot move now,
not in any direction
that makes the kind of
difference that makes
a difference to the scope
of dark coming things.

He said the center
cannot hold and I say it's
already broken
wide open. The flood
pours through this shaking moment
in huge oily globs.

    1. Jinsky, the poem is not prophecy, at least not in the time it was written. Or else it prophecies mortality perhaps as I am certainly on the down slope with not much to do about it...

The poem is a couple years old, just never before blogged as a post.

It would be really good if we did have Saints watching over us. I hope we do. At least if you believe in Saints you might as well go all the way and believe too that they are on the side of the good.

The chicken crossed the road. That's poultry in motion.
