If you gave me one
lemon and white chocolate
filled cupcake, meringue
topped, I would follow
stone trails that I know, searching
here, there for topaz,
also emeralds
to string up, make necklaces
I'd leave at your door,
leave them at midnight.

ReplyDeleteHi Rachel, sorry. I've been sick again, allergies that led to laryngitis. This is my "weak" system, a weakness that was asthmatic in my childhood. Now in my dotage it is giving me fits of a different kind. At least it isn't asthma! Thank you God. It is misery but not life threatening.
