This Is My Body, The Flow Of Words

Right about now, at year's end, I recognize that I was really branching out through the blogs, because I recognize who I wrote the second poem for. You will of course know who you are. :)

Here are two poems about a tender heart.

This Is My Body

I am embodied
Like rivers in the homeland
Of my ancestors,
Like the way the birds
Fly in the alpine forest
Above my altar,
Like my blood flows, held
Within my heart's encounter
And how love grows there.

The Flow Of Words

Her tender heart sings,
And peeking around her hair,
Shy eyes barely there.

She stands alone in the stream
Words she writes flow past her knees.

If I give myself
Perhaps she will let me see
As she turns my way.

  4. Jozien, I am not sure I know what you know :)

HB, thanks for saying so...I was writing to a picture that was taken as if the person was almost done turning away, or perhaps just starting to turn toward me.

Hi Cath, glad to have you here.

  7. Karen, I follow this goal....

Whoever dies with the most love wins.

I don't have kids so I have to make up for that :)

I learned a while back, in nineteen hundred and froze to death, that to get you gotta give.

The chicken crossed the road. That's poultry in motion.
