Agile; Flaccid; Phantom.
An agile flaccid phantom
has been dogging me
these halcyon days,
whispering in my left ear
mostly that I must
avoid becoming
dust too soon or flaming out
and plunging to earth
in the midst of flight.
This is not easy for me.
I wish a hot shot
berth in pilot lore
and my rain forested life.
