This Is My Body

I am embodied
Like rivers in the homeland
Of my ancestors,

Like the way the birds
Fly in the alpine forest
Above my altar,

Like my blood flows, held
Within my heart's encounter
And how love grows there.

  1. This is beautiful, Christopher. The idea of being embodied in the rivers of your ancestors is haunting.

  2. I shall be embodied soon. I feel it. I was spirit with no home for so long.
