The Bread Line
Really dry hard ground
all around and no water
in the summer bowl,
and yet you got smile
on your pinkish workman's face.
Makes me wonder what
you are up to now?
As for me, I'm in the line
for hope and pork chops.

I think keeping up the spirit is important.. even in the breadline .. Love those contrasts.
