I really don't know why I love knowing the historical structures of English, and how there was a "great vowel shift" a few hundred years back and all that stuff. It is something other than having a love for languages per se. I don't know any others and hate the massive memorizing involved. I have a smattering of Spanish and even less of Russian and familiarity with sacred Sanskrit and perhaps a bit more of Latin.

The history of Indo-European feels to me like critical information somehow. I am a critter of the minority at an extreme level.christopherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04201537517464996231noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2377252801421681569.post-33743900524518404132012-08-08T15:09:39.776-07:002012-08-08T15:09:39.776-07:00Excellent; I learned something...Excellent; I learned something...Berownehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09524661173663604641noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2377252801421681569.post-70599443227805634672012-08-08T13:20:29.361-07:002012-08-08T13:20:29.361-07:00you seem to have a such love affair with the Engli...you seem to have a such love affair with the English language, weighing every word....and, yes, I 'love this shit'joannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18255189465024912528noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2377252801421681569.post-67490834932305841592012-08-08T09:50:14.057-07:002012-08-08T09:50:14.057-07:00LOL I love old saying like that the way the cookie...LOL I love old saying like that the way the cookie crumbles,
My book that I will be publishing soon is called A Penny Saved A Murder Earned a play on a penny saved a penny earned from Benjamin Franklin.Sheilagh Leehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13741333943021570641noreply@blogger.com
